The "Camper Space" is not a campsite
The holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" is neither a campsite nor a large holiday resort but something in between in a beautiful historical location with a large natural lake, a river (Le Périgord) and large forests. You stay overnight in your own campervan on the holiday domain, where you are offered a number of practical facilities such as sanitary facilities and recreational facilities.
On the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" there are a number of designated "Camper Space" mobilhome sites. The spots have a natural location, near the woods and the dam. Small in size but nice and spacious, which is exactly what gives more peace and privacy! The number of "Camper Space" mobilhome sites present is limited to just 4 and every effort is made to provide domain guests with as much space as possible.
"Camper Space" pitches with good facilities
Stay cosy and safe on the "Camper Space" mobilhome pitch on the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" with still a bit of comfort. Basic sanitary facilities are available and are located in the beautiful "Maison de Maître". The sanitary facilities consist of a toilet with washbasin and a hot shower with water from our own spring. It is shared sanitary facilities with the other "Wild Camp" and "Camper Space" visitors on the holiday domain but this is usually not a problem. In addition, a washing machine and dryer are provided for a fee. Of course, you should bear in mind that the sanitary facilities are not right next to your campervan and you have to walk a bit (about 100m) to go to the toilet or shower.
"Camper Space" accommodation and recreation
Holidaying in your mobilhome is in itself a form of recreation, you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of the countryside to relax and completely unwind by becoming one with nature! Yet it is nice if there is something more than just that. To help you enjoy the peace and space, it is nice to know that you can swim and fish in natural waters. There is a river "Le Périgord" with a waterfall where you can paddle and the children can play. There are plenty of woods where you can walk and cycle for hours, finally there is a campfire place for cosy evenings under the open stars to enjoy a snack, a drink and good conversation with other guests.
Climate-friendly accommodation with EU Ecolabel
The holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" pays a lot of attention and respect to nature, the animals living there and their preservation. Climate-responsible living and business is actually an obligation for everyone but it always starts with yourself! For the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" an idealistic way of thinking and working!
The "Camper Space" pitches have the possibility of using electricity. It is preferable to use solar energy (Solar), for example, and thus use your own solar panels, provided of course you have them on your motorhome. Guests who wish to make use of the electricity supply offered on the holiday park can rest assured that this energy is obtained climate-neutrally through our own solar panels and a real waterturbine.

What "Camper Space basic facilities are available
The following facilities are available for "Camper Space" motorhome guests:
- Drinking water (from our own well)
- Washing-up facilities (outside)
- Electricity* (230V/6A blue CEE-camping plug)
- Toilet with washbasin and hot water shower
- BBQ area with picnic facilities
- Natural water with river Le Périgord, swimming permitted
- Sport/fishing in the natural water (there are rules, read them here)
- Washing machine* and tumble dryer*
- EV-charging station* for electric or hybrid vehicles

What facilities are not available
As the holiday domain is not a campsite, the following facilities are unfortunately not available:
- Waste water emptying (grey water)
- Cassette toilet emptying
In the surrounding villages "La Coquille" and "Jumilhac le Grand", both at 8 km from the holiday domain, a camper servicestation, also called Sanistation, is available. At this servicestation it is possible to discharge waste water (grey/black water), empty the cassette toilet and, if desired, take in drinking water.
What is allowed and what is not allowed
It is always nice to know what exactly is or is not allowed, that way you know where you stand.
Allowed:
- Pets, if leashed, read the rules here
- The awning may be taken off and the chairs may be left outside (camping behaviour)
- Making music with a guitar or other instrument
- Use of electric, gas or charcoal BBQ
Not allowed:
- Loud music
- Open fire/campfire during dry periods
Additional information
- Maximum stay in the same place is 72 consecutive hours
- Quiet hours from 20:00h to 08:00h
- The mobilhomer sites are entirely car-free
- Use of the swimming pool is not intended for "Camper Space" guests
- Campervans will only be placed on the grassy meadow in good weather conditions
- In bad weather conditions, when the grassy meadow is not easily accessible, motorhomes will be placed on the gravel car park
The "Zéro Waste" policy
The holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" has a Zéro Déchet "Zéro Waste" policy. Domain guests are expected to separate all waste neatly and pay for the disposal of the residual waste remaining after separation themselves. Of course, this concerns only the waste produced by the domain guest himself. All waste separated by the domain guest is taken in free of charge! If, as a domain guest, you choose to put all your waste in one bag and present it as residual waste, you will unfortunately have to pay for this.

The "Camper Space" mobilhome area
There are no "fixed" mobilhome sites on the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605", as it is a "Camper Space" mobilhome site, but there are designated areas to park your mobilhome. Only 4 motorhomes are allowed on the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" in the immediate vicinity of the "Maison de Maître", not because of space but because it is not a campsite.
The "Camper Space" mobilhome area is only available from 1 May to 1 October.
